while i am definately against homophobia, i do not actually believe in supporting WITHIN-SHOW couples. like with fairly odd parents, spongebob squarepants, my little pony and all other childrens cartoons of this generation, i believe that there should be no relationships because, i find, it encourages young children to get involved with that sort of thing at a young age. this belief also strings to my belief of why premarital sex is happening so frequently in our world today. girls getting pregant at 11, 12 and even younger should not happen. i don't feel like there is a true need for characters within a CARTOON to have a romantic relationship. live-action shows are already introducing this ethic that everyone needs to have a boyfriend at age 13, we don't need cartoons doing it as well.

Hey, great job and all, but I think the episode wasn't saying they were a couple. They were trying to be friends and get along. But its just my opinion, ok? I don't mean to bash you.

obviously the episode wasn't saying that, the writers aren't trying to get destroyed. but they also don't intend on people pairing finn with marceline all the time, or marshall lee with gumball- people just do it. it's a matter of preference. never did i say the episode was telling people that they were a couple.
