The kind of image that can't help but affect you emotionally; comes on like a powerful visual metaphor for intense emotions...

I work in science looking at chaotic behaviour (neurochemistry), which inspired me to paint using chaotic principles ... (There are some abstract paintings in my gallery) ... then around 2000 I discovered that it was far quicker to use a computer.
This is from one of my own equations ... and is very easy to program in Fractal Explorer.
As for the roots behind fractal art, it wasn't really possible until computers came along although the principles have been around for a long time ... [link] may be useful if you want to know more.

I will have to check out the link. thank you. Interesting profession. I am going to school towards nursing and just started working at a hospital as have been getting my first does of crazy things from the psych ward to the ED. How long have you been in the science field? and what drew you to that area?
