Yahoo! i have finally finished my new cover.. the book will be in shops in few months (lock, tome 4 "Abrasombra"), but i think it's a good thing to show in preview the new cover!!i work with gouache and little bit of photoshop.

GOUACHE?! ;_; You're amazing! This is so beautiful, but even MORE beautiful once you learn it's done with gouache, the most impossible medium in the world. I love the colors, the characters look interesting, the composition is great and this just rocks.

Wow - I'm really impressed. I have the tendency personally to lay the gouache on too thick and anyway, the colours are generally too dull for my tastes.(Or maybe it's just my bad technique...) Anyway, your creativity never fails to amaze me.

about the work.. i used a canson montval a3 page, graypen first for mains lines, and after gouache... and finally photoshop for details!!!

Très impressionant - comme d'habitude, serais-je tenté de dire, quelle leçon d'humilité! - comme toute couverture réussie, cette image donne envie d'en savoir plus. Au niveau des détails, j'apprécie particulièrement la barrière biscornue avec tout plein d'yeux sinistres.

superbe! c'est vraiment ta meilleure couv avec la deux. C'est vrai que le trois est celle qui m'a le moins accrochée, mais avec celle-la, a mon avis, ca va cartonner! les gens aiment bien les ambiance dramatiques! Et les couleurs sont plus sobres, moi, perso, c'est vraiment ce que je préfère!

deuxième album et du troisième... et la troisième couverture a pas du tout marché, peu de gens l'on favé... et étrangement c'est l'album qui s'est le moins vendu! Donc j'en déduis que Deviant es un bon test pour les couvertures!!!

Je crois que DA est vraiment bon pour voir où on en est; suffit de regarder les favs, et ce demander pourquoi telle image est moins favée qu'une autre et là on repère les défauts, je l'ai remarqué aussi
