Oh, I like this very much! Your version of Mary isn't quite as I envision her, but it's a wonderfully dynamic picture, and it does capture the adventurous spirit and sharp intellect of both characters. Lovely!!

Oh my god, one of my favorite books of all time! I had envisioned Holmes to be a wee bit older, but that's fine!

Doesn't look like Jeremy Brett that much, but I think you captured his mannerism quite well. I've never read that book, but I might have to add it to my Christmas list now. ;D

Shut up! You drew Laurie King fanart!! Here, put this cape on, because you're my hero. This is the first fanart of Holmes and Russell I've EVER seen. And it's really good, too! I like how it portrays Russell as a "modern" girl, with her style showing that move toward the future, while Holmes is still in old-fashioned clothes, showing he'll always be a Victorian gentleman. Maybe that's just me. Anyway, I love it. Great job.

Oh rock on. Nice to see that someone else has done some art for Beekeeper's Apprentice. Mary's looking a little worse for wear here. Fun style, I had a great time looking through your gallery.

I don't see a lot of art regarding this series... I totally adored the first three books of it.
Very nice, I love your characters.. they're very exaggerated in a manner that lets people that aren't familiar w/ the character get a gist of who they are simply by their stance, expression, etc.

Hi, Sally!
I love your work. You capture your characters so well--there is truth in your talented hands!
I moderate the Letters of Mary Yahoo! Group dedicated to Russell/Holmes fan fiction. I would love to feature your drawing, "The Beekeeper's Apprentice" on the main LOM homepage for a time (as long or as short as you would like). I think the members of LOM would absolutely flip when they see it.
I would, of course, give you full and ever-present credit in whatever form you prefer as well as links to your deviant site, if you would agree to let me feature your work. You can visit the site at [link]
Please email me either way. I am a huge fan of all your work!
Thanks and take care,
Wil

J'adore ces bouquins ! Ils sont tout simplement géniaux. Heureusement que l'on sait lire en anglais, parce que d'ici là qu'on ait le troisième en français, y en a encore pour un moment !
Joli dessin ! Leurs expressions sont superbes !
