PROJECT X

Dr. Thomas Light, the "father" of robotics and the creator of many robots as well as the one most important robot that has saved the world so many times from the evil cluthes of a mad scientist.

After a virus outbreak that caused robots all over the world to go berserk, Dr. Light feared that the future was in danger after the collapse of the virus, and decided to build a new battle robot carrying the name X, representing limitless potential, he was built with a circuit that makes him resistent to all viruses, he would soon be the first robot to have the ability to think, grow and make his own decisions.
Because of Dr.Lights pacifistic side, he also feared that if X would to break the first law of robotic " a robot must never harm a human being" the results would be devastating, and no force in earth would have enough strength to defeat him, to advanced for its time, Dr. Light sealed X for 30 years to test his behaviour.
There was no sign after Dr. Light , as he had deceased of age, so X was yet sealed for 70 more years, until his capsule was found by an Archeologist by the name Dr. Cain, noticing the capsule, he brought the robot back to his research facility. He later understood that noone in the world would recognize X and his advanced circuits, so he studied X's circuits as deep as possible and finally found a way to duplicate his circuits, thus creating a whole new production of new generation robots with the same ability as X, dubbed "Reploids"
Though the duplicated circuits had malfunctioned, the programing virus known as the "Maverick Virus" started to infect more reploids.. thus leading Dr. Lights wish to nothing, but a shattered glas...

Yes, I was talking about the virus from Megaman 10, which has confirmed that the "Roboenza" is more of a prototype for the "Maverick Virus" that Zero actually got infected with during his construction.

THIS TOOK AGES, I was also lazy, lolol.
Though this is the largest background I've done, well I haven't done that much BG since I were lazy, but I should do backgrounds more often nowadays

I'mma explain the background, basically this is the chamber that I was trying to convey where Dr. Light built Megaman X during "Megaman 10"-
Behind Light you'll notice that there's some kind of capsule, that is the capsule where X will be in sealed animation, but Light finishes him 10-20 after and seals him at the moment he spoke to X. That's the last time you'll see Light, as he died during all that time progress.

Lol, yes Light does smoke a tobacco pipe, I've seen it in the
"Megaman Offical Complete Works" there was a pic that also inspired me to draw this, those who have it will notice once they've seen that page.
