Well So far I've only watched the 4Kids Dub and that may be part of the problem. I'm actually interested in watching the later seasons of GX (The ones with the Haou and then later Yuugi X3), but first I have other anime stockpiled that i have to get through. I'll get to GX in a year or two.

IN A YEAR OR TWO!? D: I got through most of GX and all of the English dubbed 5D's in just a couple of weeks! Like one or two weeks.

The 5Ds dub is another terrible scar on YGO in my opinion =___= I just really hate 4kids and their need to AMERICANIZE THINGS!! *bangs head on desk* They really need to leave it alone; the original plot is so epic but with what they've done to it it barely makes sense anymore. Plus, they need to use different voice actors. Or ones with more range in their vocal talents. >___>

Awww, I like the dub...you know what? In Yu-Gi-Oh GX, one of the characters SWORE!!! AND IN THE ENGLISH DUB!! He said "no damn"! O_o IT'S THE APPOCALYPSE OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT!!

Ahahaha "Damn" isn't a terrible swear anymore. It's something you hear all of the time on TV nowadays. Even in some Kids shows (even though YGO is not a kids show. It was intended for young adults/teens). And actually...It's more complicated than "it's the apocalypse," as there's more than one antagonist and they each have different motives. (And 4Kids has a habit of making stuff up that isn't canon with the original show, which is also annoying because then it doesn't match the story OR the animation sometimes).

.......I can't respond to the friendship thing, because I don't actually believe that "friendship conquers all." It's not a Reality.

Actually, it's not illegal when the television station broadcasts the episodes online which 5Ds is. But I work while it's broadcasted and when I'm not working I sleeping or doing other things sooo *shrugs* I never have much time for television anymore. It happens when you grow up and get out of school . I wish I still had days where I could sit and do nothing but watch TV/computer-TV!! But Alas, such is life hehe
