Was talking with @stardustupinlights about an AU of theirs and I came up with this bit and felt the need to draw it.I’ll just be over here beating the "Kiyoshi Kogami was a terrible parent on top of being a garbage human" drum for the rest of my life. Dads in Yugioh are THE WORST!

There's greats dads in yugioh: Mr.Phoenix, Yushow and Shoichi for example...

At least Yugi's Grandpa was nice, since essentially he is both his father figure and Grandpa. Solomon is a great person

He's a good person now but he did terrible things in his past. We don't even know the full extent of it, but the glimpses are...pretty bad.

If you read the manga, you see what he was like before yugi was born, perhaps before yugi's parents were born but also possibly during. He casually and callously got people killed or ruined their lives because it was all part of the dangerous games he was playing. He left that life at some point and, yeah, became a better person, but he wasn't always a good guy. (and he still has dangerous games in his shop, the puzzle wasn't the only thing he found)
