Description
"Since the time man first looked up to the heavens he wanted reach out and catch the stars.Recently man has acquired space travel technology. Fuelled by the illusion of meaning, the human race began the search for god, the creator. Whether they find him or not - we cannot say, but now that man-kind has been unleashed upon the universe we can expect nothing but it's utter destruction."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The idea for this piece originated some weeks ago. I was always very keen on finding "the truth" by the use of logic. I realised it can't be done, as we have nothing to hint at it. The only way is to find proof - find god.
I worked on this piece for the past 2-3 weeks. I've probably spent around 25 hours on this. My main focus was detail while still staying true to the concept. It's also my 2nd ever Sci-Fi piece. Almost everything in here was made by me in 3D (or in Photoshop) except for some of the buildings (and the use of poser). 7 different programs were used.
Original file size: 2500x5000 at 300 DPI.
Size for DA: 1600x3200.
I'd like to thank Dyst for helping me with the material of the main space-ship. I'd also like to thank Neo, Dyst ([link] ) and Adrenaline ([link] )for the constant feedback and support.
I will make prints and wallpapers available if I get requests for them.

Love the planets on this, though I think the shadow on the moon one is a bit harsh.
