Description
Another race in my story, the Shedri, are a nomadic bird oriented race where not all Shedri develope the same.Some may just had feathered hair and bird like feet while others may have wings and a tail, in extreme cases they may look completely bird.
In the story the are hunted and captured, their feathers forcefully ripped off to be sold on the black market. Many Shedri don't servive the torture and abuse and those that do are so broken they are no longer able to fly, and in most cases wished they hadn't survived the ordeal.
One character who meets Casyal is named Oci he is one such Shedri who was captured with his father while his mother got away. The young Shedri, maybe around five when he was captured manages to escape with the help of his, now to weak to escape on his own, father. This young Shedri runs into Casyal during his escape and with her help he manages to be rid of the members of the Oibek people; marauders, thieves and pirates, and for the first time since he was captured Oci experiences his first gentle and kind touches.

That's horible. What happens to the Shedri not that part of the story. That is good because you need a good tragedy in a story otherwise it's not real.

Two reasons, one, to demonstrate that heroes don't always win, and two, it's important to the story/situation I put him in.
Ya see, like most things, I did a crossover with KH and it focuses on Jake Skillington becoming a Guardian. (Its a KH story because its sit in that big universe I made up in head)
Anyways, in the story Danny dies in his world and instead of ending up in the ghost zone he ended up in Halloween Town (how... reasons). He lost all his memories of his previous life, years latter he gets them back and, out of the kindness of their hearts, the people of Halloween Town start looking for Danny's home so he can reunite with his friends and family. Eventually they do but a really long time has past, Danny now being full ghost is uneffected by time. His parents are dead, the way to the ghost zone was sealed, and all but one of his friends are dead too. That one friend who's still holding on to life is non other than Sam. Danny goes to Sam and suggests things that could let them be together but she refuses them all because they aren't going to work. (final business stuff) So death itself is there, he doesn't have to be but the Grim Reaper (brother of Lord Death) is there and he uses his powers to extend Sams life just enough for she and Danny to have a final farewell. So sad and yet so romantic don't you agree?
