So during the short, we see Sombra talking to Katya, she eventually picks up a photo of her daughter and hands it to her right? Well, there was more than one photo on Katya's desk, the one Sombra handed her, which was just her daughter, and ther other one, which showed Katya and her daughter. BUT, in the photo, we see Katya booping her daughter, ( meaning it's a cute little thing the two have ) which Sombra later on does to her when saying her goodbye, which leads us to the conclusion Sombra has had eyes on her and her family since day one, and knows about even the most intimate moments in her life.
