hello everyone!!!

Vintage-MMD has decided to host a picture challenge! this is a relatively short one, with the number of days kind of inspired by current circumstances lol

everyone is free to participate, regardless of whether or not you've joined the group! not every submission needs to feature old models unless it's specifically stated in the day's theme. there's also no time limit, so u can start tomorrow, next week, next month, next year! this is meant to just offer some of us something to do while we're all cooped up inside and bored.

all i ask is that if u do participate, please link back to either Vintage-MMD 's journal post or this picture so that other people know where to start if they want to do it too! and also bc i just wanna see what u do lol

THEMES
Day 1. A remake of the first ever MMD picture you've made, or the earliest picture on ur dA account --- i certainly dont remember what my first pic was, so its totally ok to just do w/e is first on ur gallery! if theres smth u didnt like about the original, now's ur chance to change it!
Day 2. A Day at the Beach --- anything u want at a beach! if u need inspo, a lot of anime have beach episodes so thats always a good thing 2 reference!
Day 3. Anything Animasa --- it can be anything as long as an animasa model is used! imma say animasa edits are 100% fair game. i just think we should respect our elders
Day 4. Vocaloid Song Art --- can be any vocaloid song that gives u creative inspiration! doesnt need to be a cryptonloid song, u can go for anything
Day 5. Favorite Touhou Model(s) --- this is another one where i wanna respect our elders. bro touhou used to be EVERYWHERE in mmd videos. there are some seriously iconic animations that involve touhou models, and frankly, so much touhou music is like. meme music now i feel like we just. we must acknowledge it lol
Day 6. Something MMD-related that makes you feel nostalgic --- it could be making a pic with the first ever model u downloaded, it could be referencing smth from back in the day, whatever. seeing as this is a vintage-mmd challenge, i only feel its appropriate to involve smth nostalgic bc like. that group is based on nostalgia lmao
Day 7. Free Day! --- do w/e u want! it could literally be a model t-posing im cool w/whatever as long as its appropriate
Day 8. Favorite Vocaloid Pairing --- i realize this is a p vocaloid-centric challenge, but come on, doing a vocaloid pairing pic is an absolute staple of these challenges. i have to include it. i must honor those who came b4 me
Day 9. Time for Class! --- similar to the beach theme, this one is a school theme! use models in a school setting
Day 10. Miku Mania --- hatsune miku
Day 11. A Tragic Scene --- make a "sad" picture or smth with dark colors
Day 12. Favorite "Vintage" Model(s) --- now this one RLY is for vintage-mmd. do w/e u want as long as it includes an "older" model! outside of animasa, some examples are piron, lat, kio, anomaro... stuff like that!! i find that working w/older models can b a fun challenge bc we're so used to all the bells and whistles newer models bring.
Day 13. Relaxing at Home --- make a picture depicting home life! show characters cooking, playing a board game, taking a nap, whatever you wish!
Day 14. The Great Outdoors --- any kind of pic outdoors! since a lot of us are confined to our homes, i think a virtual breath of fresh air would be a nice way to end.

again, no pressure to do this challenge all in a row or right away. if u want to participate, i want to see everything u make for the themes! but it rly is just an excuse to make pics and entertain ourselves while we're in this situation. if u want to do it, ur more than welcome to do it at ur own pace. pls pls pls tag me or Vintage-MMD if ur participating!
