Description
It was a long walk to where she needed to go. Getting around on crutches was not the easiest thing in the world. However, living in town was an improvement instead of hiking out from the forest. It had been months since her accident, and a long process of recovering and coming to terms with what had happened was the worst of anything she felt. Her shoulders hurt from moving around on the sticks so much, she had finally gathered the courage to seek out some help.

She had a small bag with her, tied around her waste filled with her notepad for talking and a good deal of coins to give to the prosthetic maker. She had seen signs and notes around town and she decided it was finally time to move on. The door to the shop was simple and quaint, it had a homey vibe that she enjoyed. She moved to push open the door however was beaten to it. A dark colored gro with a friendly gaze opened the door and was surprised she was there. "Oh, uh..." He started giving her a look over. The gro gave a soft laugh before holding the door open for her. "I was about to go to lunch, but you seem like you could use some help. I'm Newt, and let me see what I can get for you." She smiled and nodded hopping her way inside to sit on a bench, setting her crutches down to the side.

Taco quickly removed her note pad from her pouch quickly writing something down and handing it to Newt, looking at him anxiously. "Something more heavy duty and simple 'eh? I can definitely do that. Let me take some measurements. Taco gave him a nod before grabbing the coins out of her bag, handing them to Newt as he got closer. Newt gave a soft smile as he took the bag before starting to work. He'd come over occasionally try a piece of metal and leather strap. Taco simply watched him work eyes wide with how efficient he was.

After what felt like only minutes, but was probably longer, Newt came over with a fancy looking metal brace. He held up a hand as she tried to reach for it, "Hold on, there, let me show you how to put it on." After a period of trial and error on trying to put it on, Taco was finally successful in putting it on. Newt nodded before coming over with the rest of her prosthetic. A metal leg with a two sided hoof on the end of it. He was close enough to matching her own hoof color. She practically bounced in her seat as he attached it to the brace. He then stood up standing to the side of her giving her a thumbs up. "Well, why don't you try it out?"

I return from the VOID. I was also cleared to draw again so BAM story time. I wanted to do taco first as I love drawing my girl and I'm not ready to draw crow five times yet.
