Wow! What a stunning photo. First, I'd like to say that I have never seen one of these beauties in person, and would LOVE to do so one day!
What really drew me to the photo (besides the bird species, of course) was the bird (I'm guessing the female) on the right. I just love her expression! She's so shocked, as if she's saying "oh my gosh, is that for ME?". I must admit that the "male?" doesn't look so sincere though... maybe he's a polygamist?
The composition and clarity are just pheneomenal in this phto, as the subjects are crisp with a out of focus background, which only enhances the focal point. Also, it's pretty cool to see the bee-eater offering a bee to its mat, because it's in the name!
