First of all this was done for a loved one who has recently passed and have been working on this for a month or so.

my family coat and arms was a stag with an arrow hole in its head due to the first kenzie going to Scotland and killing a stag, stopping it from killing the king. I wasn't and still arn't coping very well with the whole concept, I'm sure the feeling of *what now?* is relate-able in these situations. so i decided ignoring for who its for's dislike of tattoos, to start designing. samaelsebastian.deviantart.com… the bottom right one was the start. it was a decaying stag with the PX in his antlers symbolizing that he, the Mackenzie that was lost... remains himself somewhere unknown to most. Then after coming into news of other relatives are knocking on deaths door i thought "what the hay" go big or go home right? so i designed a bigger one, that would consume most of my forearm.
The second design didn't fully satisfy me, it looked far to much like a horse, and the PX turned into an Xbox sphere (kindly pointed out to me T_T) and that lead me to this design, i took the skull and antlers, and created this, a more stag looking creature, and i made the sphere reflective of an Northern like forest, a little like the Garden of Eden in my eyes, paradise : ), and i'd be over the moon to have this stain my skin till i join him.
