There was a prompt on tumblr for drawings of unconventional merpeople (ethnicity, weight, fish type, etc.) and one of my classes had covered material on Pacific Islanders recently, so here we are! (/owo)/ I am a bit late, but that is okay!!So here we have a trio of mahimahi mermaids off the coast of Hawaii hoping to pick up some dinner~ c:

You know, I was thinking about that as I was drawing! XD Maybe it would only be cannibalism if the mermaids were eating mahimahi?? I mean, fish eat other fish all the time....and are they technically different "species"? EHHHH IT IS A MYSTERY...
