here's my idea for kanto's flag.
taking the ideas from both and and trying to refine it further. i liked the ideas of the colours and incorporating the three birds and came up with just using their silhouettes opposed to the entire bird with details.
also incorporated a star-like decal that has 10 points for the 10 major towns/cities in kanto~
IDK JUST THOUGHT I'D THROW IN SOME OF MY IDEAS~~~~~

I think graphically this looks cool, but I wonder why everyone wants to use Kanto's legendaries for the mascots? I mean, none of the Kanto-era games features any legendaries in the cover arts, even though every other generation after that does. (More specificly it's the starters the Kanto games feature).
Besides, in my opinion the legendary birds (besides Zapdos) are pretty lame, and Mew isn't very fitting war mascot with those puppyeyes 
Myself, I'm sketching a design for the Air Force of Kanto using the Pidgeot-family. Just toying with ideas, though.

i was kinda rolling off the ideas that were already put forward and tried to make it more graphic oriented.
although my original idea was going to be a 10-point star in front of a silhouette of mount moon or something along those lines~
