guarded escalators? is this in an a transit hub of some sort?
i usually adhere to the slow-traffic-keep-right rule on escalators and people movers... that way the rushed people (which i sometimes am) can move along without too many elbows and uttered "pardon me's".

how I use it? I go up and down all the time because its so fun! well, atleast I used to do that when I was younger...
anyways. Its a lovely photo. The colors are great, and so are the contrast!

Hehe.... my grandma had an escalator phobia and refused to ride them. This photo evokes some of that anxiety with it's shiny metal surfaces, narrow enclosed passageway and very visible grime. I climb so I can get off as soon as possible.
