I love this photo. And i will be adding it to my favorites as well. The way the shot is composed, (which is also due to the angle) is very cool. I really like that. The lightning in this photo is good as well, and makes the colors and textures stand out nicely.

the texture and color of the chair is awesome. the light shining on it is very cool as well. the colors in the rug compliment the chair nicely, but hey, its peaceful. great shot...

... fake... chairs in photography? That's a riot. I think people ought to keep in mind the kind of upholstery used in the chair and cushion along with the lightning.
But on to the photo itself. I like the colours in the photo along with the symetry of lines created by the floorboards, 2 rugs, coffetable, chair and wall along with the angle. The wire along the wall and the vines on the green rug help to connect the background. :babbles on like a HS art teacher:
The atmosphere is wonderful and despite the odd colour of the chair (it looks well-used), it does seem like a nice play to just stop.

Simple, yet good. Everyday objects are always the hardest to make beautiful, but you've come very close in this image. I'd prefer it if the entire chair was visible instead of having parts of it cut off...but good deviation nonetheless.
