I've been looking and looking at this pic for a while now and I still can't quite put a finger why I like it so much. I mean as previously commented it does look a lil lonely draped there all by itself, but on the other hand it could have been left in the middle of some steamy make out session as they climbed the stairs. Then there is the composition!! The stairs and the railing are at opposite angle to the ceiling or the other wall that is above and the colour contrast is really cool the orange and the red with the black really attract the eye. I guess its all these things that keep me looking at it and since I've been coming back and fourth to it all week I guess its a

hmmm....the red and black make it warm,but yet dark at the same time....also gives my an urge to go skate some stair sets

Lovely composition once again. It's a little bit too dark, and therefor the boa is kind of hard to see, but i really dig the red colors though.

reminds me of stuff i used to see on granville street when i lived in vancouver. looks like the entrance to a hidden nightclub, with the boa being a signal to those looking to party.

I'm not sure that it feels lonely, with the drape of the boa over the banister... it seems more like waiting. I like the constrasts of textures between all of the objects. Have to love that fuzzy shadow on the carpet.

The boa looks a little dark, but then again, it IS black. (duh) The red looks really great. Wow, is that striped orange carpet?

nice... feels lonely. i love the warm red tone and how the light makes the edges of the stairs glow. interesting perspective, too. great shot!
