Carol Frost is a 3 time Olympic Gold Medalist. Her popularity landed her a job as the National weather girl. Her younger sister Kristen was ready to make an attempt at gold. Her first time eligible was derailed due to her rival performing a Tonya Harding copycat knee clubbing, getting both knees instead. With the Olympics a month away, they do one final intense training session outdoors on a frozen lake in Siberia. Unknown to them, that site has been teatimg radioactive bombs since the last time they were there 4 years ago. Carols skate accidentally hits a bomb barely frozen above the surface. Both girls fall into the lake. Radioactive electricity seems to have absorbed directly onto the metal on their skates. Carols body expands and her breasts are enhanced, while Kristens body begins to tone. They propel themselves out of the water and onto the ice.

They have recieved new powers through their skates. They can create electric filled snowballs, freeze objects with cold breath, and the power of flight when it is extremely cold. That is when they can manipulate the air.

They will fight for good, and protect the world from all dangers. They will do so as Snowstreak and Snowflake!
