I watched the first shippuden episode and after the first ten minutes I had to force myself to watch the rest. Naruto was the same, sakura looked more masculine and had the same bad temper ( this was hilarious and true [link] ), and sasuke...well, I think he's out done elton john on the gay level.My sister kept raving it was going to get better in the shippuden series but I find that hard to believe....
(Almost as big a disappoint as the last House episode where they killed off the one funny guy on the show)
Clue- Next episode naruto and sakura spar with.... Gasp their old Teacher!!! Who would have seen that coming. I wonder what they'll do? What, play the same game as before in the beginning episodes? I didn't see that coming!

Shippuden has its strong points. If you're looking for action, skip ahead to about episode 12 or so. If you want even better action, go head to about episode 30, where Naruto transforms into a demon.
Of course, you don't have to.

Yeah...Naruto's alright but it gets way too much press. I liked Evangelion though. At least when Evangelion made a character go emo, they usually had a pretty good reason for it.

Yep - Shippuuden is lame as hell -> the manga is still cool but the anime is one big Filler.
But as for Evangelion - dunno why it ranks so high -> way to emo for me

Manga in general have never really caught my intreast. I mean, I'll read them if I've got nothing else to but otherwise I dont read a lot of that.

well, the plot is quite the same, but the action is faster and there are no fillers.

Manga in general never really interested me. I mean I'll read them if I have no other book to read but, I dont know, its just doesn't interest me.
I've read the manga of some anime though and their almost always better (except fruits basket, I never understood the manga)
