Here's a little background history on the image.This is all that remains of an old train track that fell out of commercial use in 1967. It was used instead for delivering decomissioned weapons from Nottingham Train Station to an MoD depot for storage. The land was eventually reclaimed and re-designed as a pleasure park in the early '90s.
The track that ran to the train station was dismantled, but the rails situated on the wildlife reserve were preserved. Vintage trains still drive on them to this day as a tourist attraction.

I'm not a fan of symmetry..well, I used to, until I realised it brings boredom. In this case you are lucky that two trees popped up in the upper left corner of the frame. The choice of B&W was excellent.

This photo couldn't be more interesting. Aside from the train tracks, the grasses on either side of it and the pebbles beneath it make it stand out even more. I love the way it disappears into the distance: you could imagine it went on forever. It was good to read the information too!
