there's something you should know about me.

i'm dying.

i just rememebered that today, and it hit me. hard.

my days are numbered, and there's only so much time to see as much as i can.

to read books and collect their stories.

to write and paint until my fingers go numb.

to tell people that even when their skies are dark, there's still sun behind those clouds, and it can't wait to shine in their minds again.

i'm not afraid of death, but at the same time i know i'll miss this old place.

i love it. the songs, the sights, the scenes, the people.

it's a terrible world, but at the same time so very beautiful.

there are dark corners in every well-furnished room, it's a fact of life.

but without those shadows, you could never appreciate the full effect.

you may see me one day.

i will be small and unremarkable.
