Description
according to the myth, morpheus is known as the greek god of dreams.just close your eyes and open up your mind and these gates will take you to another world, a world of dreams .
Inspired by the "gates of morpheus" by one of my fav. new age group "amethystium".
...I think there is nothing wrong if u use your own artwork as the basis of your new work. isnt it called "inspiration"?

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if those gates WERE the gates to my dreams and imagination. My thoughts are so messed up and dark, that I think it makes a perfect depiction.

Interestingly enough, me and my friend have started working on a game called "The Morpheus Gate." Unfortunately the relation to mythology was coincidental, but this creation of yours is just so awesome!
Mind if we use part of this as our FB page banner for a bit?

i think its only natural that new work comes out of old...its called evolution, it means you are progressing and growing. well done !

Hello there. I was just wondering if I could ask for permission to use this as the basis of some band artwork I'm working on? I can credit you and send you the final piece before you make a decision. Thanks for your time.

The line work on this is amazing! I love how it looks like I can just jump right in...and even though it's a bit different from what I remember about the gates of Demos Oneiroi, it's still a fantastic rendition. Well done!

Wow!! This is absolutely amazing!! This piece reminds me of Alan Lee's work. You've definitely
captured the feeling of dreams. This picture matches so well with song. Wonderful!!

Oh, my Gushousekai!! I love the dog statues! I love the colors! I LOVE AMETHYSTIUM!!!!
Amethystium is actually one person (it's the name of the music project). The boy's name is Oystein Ramfjord; he's from Norway.
You know, I wonder if his music or music in his style would fit in a Paper Mario game.

wonderful. great, unique perspective and use of symmetry; also excellent use of monochrome which suits the "dream-like" motif. Oh, and it incorporates Greek mythology references, too. What's not to like? Fav from me.

I have a couple of very important questions to ask you about this amazing piece of artwork. First of all, my name is Eric, a musician who listens to and appreciates all genres of music. Your "gates of morpheus" is a stunning example of what great art looks like. My first question, are you the sole owner of this artwork?, and second, would I be able to use this artwork for our C.D. cover? We would put your name and any other information inside the C.D. inserts. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Eric

This is absoultely stunning. I love how you kept it monotone- the different shades of black/brown really work with the detail. Beautiful.
