Description This is a painting of the Swiss Alps that my twin brother Keven and I were commissioned to do for the grocery store we work at. We were asked to do it in April and we were only given two weeks to get it done. It is all acrylic paint on a 6x12 foot canvas. In the picture, to the right and left of the painting, are mannequins dressed in ski gear. These give you an idea of scale. I know it's not the best picture of it but it is meant to be seen from far away. The best part about doing this is, even though we were paid to do it; we get to have it back and try to sell it to someone else.

Thanks. Creating the depth was probably the biggest challenge, we deceided to paint the mountains lighter in the background for the atmospheric perspective.

Oooooooooooh this is gorgeous!!!! I love such kinda views over the mountains aren't they wonderful?! I've been in Swiss twice (for only several hours though) but I was lucky enough to see those beautiful mountains in real life!
