Description
The quiver and arrows I made for my ranger costume .The quiver I made from cardboard, with wire on the inside to keep it in the right shape, and then a stiff fabric and suede stretched and glued around it. At the top I sewed everything together along the edge and I sewed the bottom closed as well.
The dark brown bits are felt. The green sack coming out of the top can be pulled up over the arrows to protect them from rain. In theory. >.> <-- It worked!
I used an old belt for the straps: cut it at about 1/3 from the buckle and made two slits in the back of the quiver for the cut ends of the belt. On the inside I stuck a bit of thick wire through a hole in the belt, which was then pulled against the inside of the quiver to spread the pressure, keeping it from tearing the slit open wider.

Yes, I used wooden dowels from the DIY store and some feathers from a hobby shop (forgot what type of feathers, sorry.. ). I made them to look real, but not really to be used, so I've never shot them with a proper bow rather than my dinky self-made one.

Yup. Cut it at about 1/3 from the buckle and made two slits in the back of the quiver for the cut ends of the belt. On the inside I stuck a bit of thick wire through a hole in the belt, which is then pulled against the inside of the quiver and spreads the pressure, keeping it from tearing the slit open wider.
