Race: "Will-'o-Wisp Parasite"(Currently possessing a human)

Job: Performer (Highwire/Tightrope Act)
-Enjoys using all sorts of props in her act, usually whatever she has available at the time.

-Has been known to walk on her hands, along with other sort of gymnastic-type stunts.

-Never uses a net. Much to the dismay of any volunteers she just happens to drag up with her.

-Near the end of her act she'll usually jump off the middle of the wire, falling to the ground only to transform at the last second and then back again just in time to stand back up in the (fake) cloud of dust from the 'impact', perfectly fine. The showoff.

-Can and likely will bring up a volunteer or two up to the wire. She'll lead them halfway across, only to force them both to fall over and plummet to the ground. Midfall she'll swap to the new host and land in the same way described above, only with the new host's body instead. After the crowd gapes at the 'performer's' body turning to dust, leaving only the clothes behind, she will assure the crowd that it's only a part of the show. Then she will simply adjust her appearance to the previous body's, making it appear as if she in fact didn't die. Afterward no one usually questions what happened to the real person, so she doesn't bother with an excuse.

Appearance:
Unlike some other people in the circus, she makes an effort to keep herself clean-ish, preferring to maintain her host's hygiene.

Casual Wear:
-Will always have her hair up somehow.
-Bandages on feet (Walking on the tightrope is murder~)

Wisp-Form (For lack of a better name)
-2' 3"- 2' 6", depending on mood.
-Generally just floats around. Can't speak.
-Only looks like a floaty-fire. Glows slightly.

Performance Wear:
-Will always have her little hat-thing.
-Umbrella is sort of reflective inside, mostly to get attention from the audience while performing.

Personality:
Despite what references will show you, she does much more than frown. But she does that, too.
Mischievous, mostly due to her Wisp-nature.
Very casual, hates being overly formal with people.
Difficult to anger or depress unless you know just what to do.
Total showoff.
Often finds other people's misfortunes entertaining or amusing.

History:
Was originally created to guard a treasure somewhere in the countryside over 100 years prior, until this random girl stumbled upon the site. Said girl managed to somehow catch her, so she took her chance and 'possessed' her to leave the area. Generally wandered around wherever she wanted, switching hosts as needed. After a while, the circus found her and she joined up, seeing how she didn't have much else to do at the time.

Species Explanation:
WoWParasites, as they are nicknamed, are odd creatures the Will 'o Wisp legends were loosely based on. They are usually mistaken for spirits or certain species of fairy, but they are only loosely related to these creatures. They are usually created with some sort of magic, and are usually used to keep people away from something important to the creator. They are rarely used nowadays, due to a few loopholes in their existence (The ability to 'possess' being a major one) but still exist in a few remote parts of the world.

At first, they exist only in the shape of a flame, enjoying their duty in leading wary passengers away from certain paths. They are usually tethered to a very specific area, until someone is unlucky enough to catch them. Then they are able to 'possess' that person, and take their body for themselves. After this they can use the now-empty shell for their own purposes, and are able to switch between hosts when needed, but only if both the old host and new host are touching. Otherwise they could be stuck without a body, due to the old host crumbling to dust afterward, unless someone else manages to catch them.

If they become separated from a host for more than 12 hours, their energy is used up to return it to it's original "home". Usually, this is to great of a strain and they simply die after this.

-Only able to 'Possess' female humans.
-Able to change each new host's appearance a single time after possessing them, prefers keeping general host appearance very similar.
-Well balanced and coordinated.
-Can turn into 'wisp-form' at will.
-Much much much lighter than she looks. Seriously.

I'm honestly rather pleased with it, being my first sort of lineless art and all. It was rather fun, actually. Different.
