I used to look a lot into Dada and Surrealism when I was in high school. Maybe there is a residue of it left inside my head
But you see, I like collage very much: Max Ernst's favourite technique. So I guess there is a link between me and Dada.

interesting. i actually hadn't heard of Max Ernst before...I looked him up and I like his pieces a lot, especially "Pieta." How do you feel about Otto Dix?

Otto Dix seems very bitter nad remorseless. Who knows what kind of person he was? But I like his style. I see a lot of irony in it.

ha yeah he does have a rather heavy, intense style. i like it too though. there's one painting he did that's quite uncharacteristic, however...it's in a Renaissance portrait style. if you'd like to see it here's the link: [link]
