Being something of a clever fool I'm a sucker for a good oxymoron - they can be seriously funny! As for being thought of as blatantly subtle, well I take it as a compliment as it seems somehow oddly appropriate! I'm glad you love the picture!

You are, of course, free to do as you please, but you might first like to consider your potential audience. A joke's only really a joke if it raises a smile from the recipient. 'Nub' jokes, I suspect, are not going to get much in the way of giggles from your readers on these pages!
