I'll scrap this later, since it's just a sketch, but I think I've seen a lot of drawings of Ludwig with what I'll call "helmet hair". I'm by no means much better, but geez. I don't even....By the way, don't take it too seriously.

I think even the anime kinda draws him with more "helmet"ish hair. So I think that's part of the issue. Like lines across it. XD Might as well draw him with cornrows.
