Night of a Thousand Stars

It's been a serious while since I finished a painting of any sort, and it's unfortunate that the first one I post in a month is a geeky piece of fan art! I couldn't help myself, though, not after re-watching part one and two of the Avatar origin story. So this is the result. Just like the art style of the episode, I went for a brush style with lots of gradient. I realize that the colors are a little off, but I sorta liked the way the blues looked as opposed to browns and oranges.
And so, on that note, happy Harmonic Convergence everyone!
