Here's the next pic for my Sammy's Disney Adventures series!

Up next in Walt Disney's arsenal of animated classics is one of his shortest and his most beloved, and a huge childhood favorite for me as a kid, Dumbo! For me, I thought the best scene to represent the classic in a whole was to feature a circus full of stars just having fun performing their acts, including Dumbo and Timothy as the stars, Ed as a clown, Dunlap as a "tabby cat" cannonball, Tony as a trapeze artist, and me as an assistant ringmaster. I also wanted to add one of my favorite Disney characters to this scene(since he fits well here) as a bonus, Bongo the bear, just riding on his unicycle. It was also inspiration from this awesome cover(www.mouseinfo.com/gallery/file… )

As for my thoughts on Dumbo, I love it!! Like I said before, Dumbo was a childhood favorite growing up!! The story is amazing. It made you feel every emotion, you would laugh, cheer, and even cry at many of the moments in this movie!! The animation is incredible, and the use of watercolors is amazing! The characters are awesome, Dumbo is adorable, Timothy is a kind and caring friend, Mrs. Jumbo is a loveable mother, and the imfamous Pink Elephants practically steal the show when the come on screen. Were the people at Disney high on some strong drugs for this scene to come in!?! Just a thought. And the songs are just enjoyable!! From the catchy "Look Out for Mr. Stork" to the fun "Song of the Roustabouts" to the soothing "Baby Mine." But the two best things about this classic for me(both songs and characters) are Casey Junior and the crows, and their songs, "Casey Junior" and "When I see an Elephant Fly" Starting with Casey Junior, he needs no introduction!! Sure he didn't have a huge part, but he had some great scenes including his entrance, his epic hill climb, and I absolutely love his voice!!! That and he was the one who got me into loving trains with a burning passion. As for the crows, same thing!! They need no introduction! Many people often say they're racist, but I ignored that and loved them for the helpers and heroes they were! They were the ones that made Dumbo fly, they were awesome, I loved them and I still do!! Dumbo is a fun and amazing Disney Classic. I may not love it as much as I used to, but it still has it's place in my heart.
