Hey guys, here's a revised version of the second chapter of my collab story with , The Centaur Moon Princess Book! We hope you enjoy it!!

Later that afternoon, the sun was shining and every creature was going about their lives. In a secluded rocky area several feet away from Moon Rock, a small kangaroo mouse scampered out from an opening after exploring certain parts of the area. As it scurried out, it cleaned it's face and sniffed the air. Then the mouse paused for a moment and lifted it's head. Then it flinched as it heard a female voice. Soon from the shadows, a female centaur slowly trotted out eyeing the mouse. This was Nehelenia, the sister of Queen Serenity. She desired to be the queen, but ever since Serena was born, her chances were taking the throne were second to none. Soon she spoke in an elegant yet irritated manner. "Life's not fair," she said as the mouse climbed up a blade of tall grass, "Is it my little friend?" Soon the mouse saw a nearby bone and took cover underneath as the centaur continued to speak. "While some are born to feast," she continued, "Others spend their lives in the dark.......begging for scraps." Soon as her tail swatted the bone, the mouse was quick to scamper towards another bone trying to hide. "The way I see it.......you and I are exactly alike." Nehelenia spoke as she finally pounced and pinned the mouse against the ground with her clawed hands, "We both want to find a way out."

Before she could have a chance to eat the mouse however, she was greeted by one of Serenity's advisors, Lunar the bat. "The queen is approaching, she is on her way here!! This is not a drill!" Lunar said landing on a rock next to the centaur, "Her majesty has requested an audience with you Nehelenia. Upon her entrance you will rise and give your full attention to her." "Oh now look what you did Lunar," Nehelenia said, "You made me lose my snack." "You will answer to Queen Serenity, for missing the ceremony this morning," Lunar said in a stern tone. "I answer to no one, big eared buzzard!" Nehelenia barked as she eyed Lunar menacingly.

Realizing what she was doing, Lunar backed up as the centaur trotted menacingly closer to him. "Uh, Nehelenia.......No, Nehelenia no!! Don't look at me that way," Lunar said getting ready to take off. "Tell me Lunar," Nehelenia said wickedly, "Are you hungry? Perhaps......we could have a bite together!!! As soon as the bat tried to fly away, the centaur caught it with her hands and pinned him to the ground. "No, please!!" Lunar panicked, "You can't eat me, it's forbidden to eat a member of the Queen's court!!" "Nehelenia," Queen Serenity said from behind as she showed up just in time. "Hmm?" Nehelenia responded while turning her head to her sister. Also with her was her other advisors, Luna and Artemis the cats, and Gin the moon fox. Two more of Serenity's closest friends also arrived. These were Ladybug, a jungle sprite, and Cat Noir, a werecat. "Let him go," Luna responded along with her. "Impeccable timing your majesty." Lunar responded from under Nehelenia's clawed hands. As she let Lunar go, he flew up to Serenity and hid behind her human half. Laughing, Artemis turned to Lunar and said, "Now Lunar, we warned you about approaching predators." "What?" Lunar said confused. "Yeah Lunar," Gin added, "We did say you looked so good that you were good enough to eat." "Oh, why thank you I-"Lunar said but realized what they mean't,"Hey!"

"Why if it isn't my big sister coming down from her high throne to mingle with the commoners," Nehelenia said as she walked up to her sister. "Enough comedy sister," Queen Serenity replied, "Atlas and I didn't see you at the presentation of Princess Serena." "Was that today," Nehelenia gasped pretending to be shocked and sad, "Oh I feel so awful" Then she put her sharp fingernails onto the rock walls and scratched them making a loud screech which made Serenity's advisors and subjects cringe. "I say, it must've slipped my mind. Of course I didn't mean any disrespect towards her majesty.......or Atlas," she said, "You know I do have tremendous respect for the king." Angry, Ladybug flew up to the centaur and said, "Well as slippery as your mind is, as the queen's sister, you should've been first in line!" Nehelenia just responded by angrily scaring her with a booming voice, "I WAS FIRST IN LINE, that was, before the precious princess.....was born." Soon she got up from her spot as Serenity stopped her in her tracks.

"Don't turn your back on me Nehelenia!!!" Serenity said. "Oh no sister!" Nehelenia responded back, "Perhaps you shouldn't turn your back on me." In an angry rage, Serenity galloped in front of her yelling,"IS THAT A CHALLENGE!! "Temper temper my dear," Nehelenia responded once more, "I wouldn't dream of challenging you.......again." "A wise decision," Lunar said, "You are no match for her royalness." "Well, as far as brains go I got the Centaur's share," Nehelenia answered, "But when it comes to brute strength......I'm afraid my older sister will always rule." "Not always sister," Serenity replied, "One day, it will be my daughter who rules. Serena will be your queen." "Hmph!!!" Nehelenia scoffed, "Then long live the queen." With that, the grumpy centaur trotted off as Queen Serenity and her advisers and friends watched. Sighing, Serenity asked, "What am I gonna do with her?" "Oh please we all know she should have been banished from the herd ages ago." Luna scoffed. "This is her home my advisers, as long as I am the queen of Moon Rock......that will never change," Serenity replied. "Well there's one in every family my queen," Artemis replied, "Two in mine actually, and they always manage to ruin special occasions." "I know, "Lunar added, "I once had a cousin who thought he was a woodpecker, she would slam her head despite not having a beak." Then she saw others leave as he said, "And you left, come on guys wait up!!" As her advisers laughed and walked off, Serenity saw both Cat Noir and Ladybug walking off in another direction together. "Ladybug, Cat?" she called out. "Yes my queen?" Ladybug said. "What is it my Queen Serenity?" Cat said. "I want you two to watch over my daughter," Serenity said, "She will need guidance whenever I or my advisers are not around. Can I count on you two to do that for me?" As the two friends looked at each other, they both nodded and looked back at the centaur queen. "We will Serenity!" Ladybug said. "You can count on us!" Cat said. "Thank you both," Serenity said as she nodded.
