Let's be honest people, we all love to go the movies! Everyone does, it's always fun to check out the latest movies out in theaters, enjoy the snacks from the concession stand, and just invest yourself in the atmosphere of the movie theater. Going to the movies is always fun, but you aren't the only one that's there watching the movie in front of you........unless the movie really really sucks. So with help from Ed the dog, Dunlap the cat, and Tony the Python, here are some ways to enjoy the movie without disturbing others around you.

1. Silence or Shut Off Your Phone

When bringing your phones into the theater, do one of two things. Put it on silent and dim the screen. Or just shut it off during the movie. Movies don't interrupt you, so don't talk out loud or text during the film.

2. Don't block the view of the Screen for Everyone Else

If you're very tall like I am, either crouch down so the person behind you can see the movie.....or just go to the back of the theater room. Also, if you have to take a bathroom break, make sure you don't block anybody's view of the movie as you go and do your business.

3. Open Outside Snacks at the Right Time

There's nothing wrong with sneaking in outside snacks in the movie theater, especially if you're either not a fan of the snacks at the concession stands or if they cost extra with the movie. But just make sure to open those delicious sodas and candy at the appropriate time.

4. Don't Talk or Shout while Watching the Movie

In the theater, people want to hear either the dialogue from the characters, or the score of the movie's soundtrack. What they don't wanna hear is your commentary throughout the entire picture, whether it's a complaint, a compliment, or something out loud! This may be something to do at home while seeing a movie of your choice, but never something to do at the movies....keep those thoughts to yourself.

Follow these common courtesies, and you and everybody around you will have a great time at the movies!!
