Here's another OC I created, and my first snake OC too. This is Tony, he is a ball python. As his name implies, he curls up into a ball shape whenever he is stressed or scared. Tony loves a good mouse or even something bigger than that. Despite the fact that Tony can hypnotize and wrap his prey tight in his coils, he is mostly a docile and friendly snake that is more than happy to make friends with anyone...if he doesn't want to eat or mess with them first.ΒFor this, I decided to draw Tony in his full coiled up body view of him, his colorful spirals, his ball shape, and a look I wanted him to do as a tribute to Kaa from The Jungle Book.Β

Yessss, yessss they are. Normally ball pythons reach up to about 3 to 5 feet in length. The reason why I made Tony into a ball python is because these are my favorites among the constrictors along with green anacondas and burmese pythons.

Hmm, that is a tough one. But if I had to pick a voice for Tony, it would be two options. The first without a doubt would be Jim Cummings since he can do a pretty mean Kaa voice(only make it not as high pitched as Kaa's to differentiate the two). The second would be Samuel Vincent(known as the voice of Edd from Ed, Edd n Eddy or as Russell from Littlest Pet Shop), I think for this guy, he should do his Edd voice while adding a hissing/slithery lisp to it(kind like Kaa when Sterling Holloway did his Pooh voice for the character, but different).

Well, snakes are my favorite animals. I've always been fascinated by them, especially constrictors. The way they move, the way catch their prey, the way they eat, it's all sssso cool! Speaking of constrictors, Kaa was also one of the reasons why snakes became my favorite animal.Β
