Apophysis aprintly dosn't render dark colors well. The picture is extremly blure.
So I've changed the color. Not sure if I like the new color better or not.:edit: wow...me and my awesomeness. I uploaded the wrong picture.

I'm assuming this was done in a math program and this has a mathematical meaning? I'm asking because my husband likes doing pictures of Mandlebrot sets in a program. Although I may not fully understand the math behind it, I think this looks wild.

I absolutely love the angular symmetry of this, you almost don't get the impression of curves at all (though they are there).
