Hey folks, time for an update now that everything has settled down.

As many know, I have been fairly vacant for several years now. The nature of my job required quite a bit of travel and physical exertion, and has left me with precious little time for art. That being said, I still stole time away to practice and refine my ability during my absences.

Earlier last year, around late January, I “retired” from my job. I was experiencing knee, hip and back issues from overuse, and I was ready to be home and experience life with my wife and children. I had a similar job lined up that paid less but minimized/ eliminated long distance travel. I was looking forward to having downtime to draw, post, and further refine my style.

Unfortunately the whole COVID thing blew up and soon, and the new job I had lined up immediately laid me off (like a week into working there) and soon after closed its doors for the rest of the year.

Since the end of February I have been trying to get my old job back, but due to the nature of bureaucracy, politics, and hiring suspensions I was unable to secure my old contract. After working construction and wading my way through a swamp of red tape and ineffective government workers I eventually attended a selection event and and was given a similar contract to the previous in November.

I will likely have more free time than before, which means my work on existing projects with other creators will begin being published soon(ish)

In the meantime enjoy a panel from the upcoming Hyrule’s Hero reboot

In short, fuck this year, and to a brighter, more cyberpunk future.
