Hey everybody! This is a location in TF QUEST.Devian's Arch is the home of the gatekeepers. They are a reclusive order of religious fanatics who believe that the Archway is an ancient structure that was placed in the world by the old gods. There are various sects in their religious order. Some believe that it is a portal to the spirit world. Others believe that it is the gateway from which magic into's the world. More believe the Archway is a prison for unspeakably evil being, and then it must be protected from those wishing to release this ancient evil into the world.
more info will be updated on this page, we are still getting the lore figured out.
this is my first landscape, so please let me know what you think! I really want to get better at doing landscapes, however I am quite new to this and could use some pointers.

The shadow coming from the mountain range may look a bit awkward ( read: too long), unless you make the light source coming from a lower angle. However, then the shadow of the backside of the mountain on the left should be a bit darker.
You could try to add more detail to the landscape, like rocks or patches of tall grass and barren ground.
the tree.. hmmm...
What I really like from this picture is the arch which is also the focal point of the picture. I think you did a good job on that one.
Overall this is a pretty good job for your first try! And once again you've earned my respect for trying out new stuff, you've made me motivated to try harder

I am going to redo this picture at some point, and I will be sure to fix the lighting, the sky, and add more to the grassy plain... It is very boring.

haha because I believe a good piece or a bad piece is subjective. Since I am pretty sure I won't be able to produce something close to that, to me its a pretty good piece, just a bit rough.
