That idea got into my mind, and lookie here, I drew Daisy and Peach in such improvement than the two last ones.Princess PeachΒ Princess Daisy
Yuck .... how old are these two drawings? 2008?? As in six years or something? YICK! I should be happy that I always draw a lot, doodling and sketching as usual.
Anyway, the idea is that I gave these three princesses some themes. Peeps like you are free to disagree with me if you want, I won't be offended or so.
Peach in Distress - My favorite pink princess Peach is Bowser's favorite captive, always being kidnapped in every Mario series. Need I say more?
Sporty Daisy - Since Daisy is a tomboy, she must have been into sports a lot. After Super Mario Land, this tough cookie has never been captured by the baddies, not even Bowser (since she just punched him sky high in Mario Party 3). That incident has caused the bad guys to not even go near her. Instead of "royalty schmoyalty", Daisy is rather be into sports, kicking ass of being the sporty player.
Racer Mama Rosalina - Rosy appeared in three Mario Kart series (Wii, 7, and 8). Yes I know; she is mainly a mom, but when she's on break doing her motherly things, she enters the competition as "Mama racing princess".

I love how the different outfits are given to show their personalities. Daisy in a dress never seemed right to me, considering that she is a tomboy, so I think the sports outfit looks best on her. Rosalina's kart racing suit not only makes her look sexy, but it is best suited for her since she is an otherworldly princess with enchanting beauty. Peach looks hot in sports wear every once in a while, but I think it is best to leave her in the dress because it really brings out her personality as the innocent damsel in distress.

I would love this to be Daisy's default outfit. Β No seriously, I want her to be lesser royalty in the Mushroom Kingdom which means the royal and formal traditions aren't forced onto Daisy as much as they are onto Peach. Β Therefore, her tomboy interests can flourish and gives her a distinct style from Peach. Β No one will ever mistake Daisy for a Peach palette swap ever again.
Although I would like Daisy's formal dress to be altered in shape.

Hehehe. I like your point. I believe Daisy should have this sporty outfit as her current outfit. Of course, she is a tomboy. Even she is, that doesn't stop her from wearing a dress not because it is a royal tradition. Daisy is just Daisy; she can wear whatever she wants. x3

They all look very cool, especially Daisy in her sports outfit. Personally, I feel like they should've made Daisy's sports outfit her main outfit, even in games like Mario Party and Mario Kart. It just suits her more than the dress!!
