Description
This took 60 minutes at 1 photo per minute over Hartley South Viaduct, you can easily distinguish the shooting stars from the star trail as they are more horizontal that vertical.Related content

Hey there, nice photo as for the "shooting stars" - I'm not an expert but i would say this is not a shooting star but a satellite - it took you 60 minutes to take thise exposure and it seems satellite encircled the Earth four times. And one time it created a strogner flare (second from bottom). If you know what time and where you took those photos it is possible even to track the same of this satellite - could be an Iridium.

Nice! The viaduct makes it instantly my favourite star trails photo I've seen so far (there are many!).

Just want to point out that using photoshop should not be classified as cheating at all. Most photographers (the ones who are somewhat in to it at least) shoot in RAW to be able to adjust potential mistakes made by the camera (too bright/dark images, white balance off etc), but RAW images are much less vivid and contrasty than JPEG's, since a JPEG is basically a picture that is automatically edited in your camera.
If you think using photoshop is cheating, you would think that taking JPEG images is cheating as well.

Im sorry what? lol, i took 60 different exposures and just merged them all using an app called 'star trails', if you don't do different photos you will end up with a really grainy photo.

Thanks for a great photo. Very dramatic, on both sides of the horizon.
