He's a former Army officer, wounded in action and soon thereafter discharged. Unwilling to take a behind-the-scenes role in serving his country, he took an eccentric scientists offer to test his new suit of armor, which would counteract most of the symptoms of his injuries. It would also make him extremely durable and amazingly strong. Thus, the veteran became Captain Adamant!

That's a cool character. The site provides a lot of good details on him and the others on the team. Champions Online, right? I used to play that game as a Freeform hero until I got bored.

Captain Adamant actually reminds me of a character I came up with named Safeguard. Same basic design and backstory with him being former military. Guess I'll have to come up with something else, now.
