Description
Makes sure you read the Rules of Submission before submitting your character! [ToR] Rules of Submission
Name
Here you explain what your character’s name means. Make sure your character follows the color naming rule. If your character does not, they will be rejected until this issue is fixed.
Origin & Influences (optional)
Here you explain whether your character has any influences. These can be fairy tales, myths, literature and history.
Influences originating from pop culture such as anime/cartoon, movie and comic book characters are discouraged.
Basic Info
Nicknames
Self explanatory.
Colour
Main colour(s) represented by the character (no more than 3). Most often the colour of their aura too.
Age
Self explanatory.
Gender
Any and all genders are accepted, however for the sake of keeping things organised I would prefer it if genderqueer characters use ‘they/them’ pronouns rather than made-up ones. This will remain to be the case until any other pronouns are officially accepted into the English language.
Species
A character can be either human or faunus. No grimm hybrids, half-faunus or aliens.
If your character is faunus, explain what breed and makes them faunus.
Year and Team or Professions
Freshmen have to be join teamless! They will be paired into teams once enough members have gathered to make teams. (More info on this here.)
If you have a team of freshmen you’d like to submit, please make them 2nd years.
Affiliations
This can be their team, their school, the White Fang, etc. If this character is part of a team, Please also provide links to their teammates’ applications for the sake of making them easy to find.
Appearance
Do not say “look at picture”. Not everything is visible in a single reference. Give a description.
Do not give a list of personality traits. Give sentences. You do not need to follow the structure below to the bone, but it does help fleshing out a personality more easily. It also sets a bit of a bar that even if you choose not to follow this structure, you still understand what kind of information is required.
Core Information
Try to give at least 3 sentences focussing on the character’s most important trait. What it is, why they are like that and how it affects their behaviour.
Social Interaction
How does the core trait influence their social life? Introvert or extravert, how they treat others, how others tend to treat them.
Combat Behaviour
How does the core trait influence their behaviour in combat? Explain where their motivation to become a huntsmen comes from. Whether they’re a leader or a follower in battle. How they feel about fighting people vs fighting grimm.
Exceptions, Hobbies, Perks (optional)
Other personality-related stuff goes here. Feel free to also include things like sexuality, certain likes and dislikes, etc. Do not make this part longer than the rest of the personality sections.
Backstory
Explain your character’s life before the present where the roleplay takes place. Don’t go into too much detail, giving away too much will make discussing a character’s past in-universe boring. Stay objective, don’t be overly dramatic if something bad happens. Don’t write from the first person. Remember the present is most important when roleplaying, so don’t have your character’s backstory take the spotlight away from the personality.
Aura and Semblance
Semblance is a pretty hard thing to do as more difficult and powerful semblances are revealed the the further the show progresses. However make sure you balance out your semblance. Be detailed and make sure to state the weaknesses and limitations of the semblance.
Weapon
A single weapon can’t have more than 3 battle forms (so not including a pocket form). Two identical weapons can’t have more than 2 battle forms. Two different weapons can only have 3 battle forms total. A character can’t own more than two fully operational weapons.
Fighting Style
Don’t just say your character’s fighting style is a type or martial arts. Explain a bit what that martial arts is about, and go into detail why and how they use that martial arts. Offense vs defense? Also, this part is also an extension of the personality, so don’t have the fighting style conflict with their personality.
Tales
Here you can link every story and/or roleplay log your character is involved in. (unless they only make a small cameo appearance.)
If your character is featured in a long fanfic, just link the first chapter.
Trivia
Self explanatory.

So I'm a little confused. Do you want a full bio in addition to the character card?

Yeah. The character card is a preview of the character, to catch people's attention and the get a quick sneak peak of what the character's about, and then you can read more about them if you want to.
