Name: Asia
Age: 3 ½ months
Gender: Female
Breed: Bull Terrier
Height: 21 inches (when full grown)
Weight: 45 lb (when full grown. She is a little on the slim side)

Personality: Asia is unusually quiet and calm for a puppy. She likes to keep to herself most of the time. She is extremely obedient and has a longer attention span than most people. She can get along with other dogs but can be a little wary of new people. Asia is a very picky eater and never eats much. She is kinda like a cat, very independent.

Backstory: The Shelter was going about as per their usual schedule when a woman came in with a puppy.
“How may I help you?” One of the staff asked . “I would like to hand over this puppy to the shelter. We no longer want it.” The women said. “ Huh are you sure?” Asked the staff member. “Yes im sure. Hand me the papers to sign and I will be on my way.” The woman replied. The women signed the papers and quickly left, leaving the 6 week old puppy behind. Many weeks had passed since then.

“Oh Damien, hi, how are you doing? And how are all your dogs?” A young staff member asked. “ Hi, we’re all great. Thanks.” Damien replied. “That’s good. Um I have a favour to ask you. Could you come look at a puppy?” They asked. Damien nodded and followed the girl to the kennels. The girl led him to a small kennel with a single puppy in it. “Here; she has been having a real hard time finding a home for such a young puppy.” The girl said as she pointed to the puppy.

“ Damien knelt down next to the kennel. The puppy looked at him briefly. “ Wow it’s a little bull terrier puppy. Its hard to believe she hasn’t been adopted yet, what’s the chart say about her?” Damien asked at he reached in and started to pet the puppy. “ Its all pretty normal she is a 3 month old bull terrier, female, her dew claws were removed by a vet. She is good with dogs and people. There is nothing strange here at all. But the few people that tried to adopt her said she wasn’t normal and not what they wanted in a puppy. But the truth is most people don’t want her because they think she is a pit bull.” The girl said sadly. Damien thought for a moment before asking “ Do you mind if I use one of the back rooms to do my own evaluation with her?” “Not at all. Take as much time as you need.” Said the girl as she lead them to one of the spare rooms.

Damien started with the basics. To see how she will react to things like certain behaviours and commands. He was surprised how quickly she caught on to things. She learnt almost all the basics obedience commands in one session. Damien then moved on to holding her different ways to see her reaction. There was nothing to bad, she was a little uncomfortable with some of it but it may have been, she was just tired of him being there. He tried to check if she was food aggressive but she ate at her own pace so there was really nothing he could do. One thing that Damien noticed during the evaluation was that she stayed focussed the whole time, which was very strange for a puppy.

“Hey Damien how is it going?” The girl asked as she entered the room. “Great actually there is nothing wrong with her at all she is an amazing dog. And that’s what’s different she doesn’t act like a normal puppy. In other words she skipped the puppy stage and is more like a 5 year old dog.” he stated. “So, are you going to adopt her?” the girl asked with a smile. “What? I already have 4 dogs.” he said as he looked down at the puppy. That was a mistake; he sighed “Where are the adoption papers.” He quickly said “Great! All go get them. Thanks again Damien we can always count on you.” The girl said as she ran off the get the papers. “Haha well now what should a call you?” Damien said as he looked down at the puppy again. Damien filled out the papers and handed them back to the girl. As she looked over them she looked at the puppy. “Im sure you’ll love your new home Asia.” the puppy looked up at her then to Damien.

“DAMIEN! Your home!” Sam yelled as she ran up to the truck. “Huh what’s that?” she said as Damien got out of the truck. “This is Asia she is are newest family member.” He said as he walked up to Sam. “Welcome home Asia.” he said as he looked at the puppy in his arms.

Plans for use: She will join all the other dogs at my Ranch [link] and live with all the horses cow and people there [link] I love bull terriers and having one here would be great
