Name: Bax
Age:5
Gender: Male
Breed: Saint Bernard / Labrador mix
Height: 30 ½ inches
Weight: 160 lb

Personality: Bax is usually quiet. He often acts like other large breed dogs; laying around, happy to see people. But he takes his job very very seriously. If you cross his path and you happen do be an enemy you will wish you weren’t.

Backstory: Bax came from a generation of guard dogs. His father was a great guard dog. To them their job is quite noble although what they are guarding is an illegal mine. The mine uses powerful dogs and ponies to pull the mine carts. Bax’s job is to make sure no one gets in , or out. Although Bax is normally calm, anytime the Akita/Pit bull mix Dom comes above ground he never relaxes. Dom has always vowed to escape and has fought with Bax many times. Dom has tried to explain to Bax why he must escape but Bax’s duty is too strong to listen.

“Hey Bax Dom is coming above ground.” A worker yelled. Bax stood up. His eyes fixed to the cave entrance. Dom and a pit pony named Clone appeared from the dark. Once they had stopped Dom and Bax stared at each other waiting to see what the other would do. Though Dom’s gaze quickly went to the sky. Bax didn’t take his eyes off of him, then all of a sudden there was a flash of light. Bax too looked up but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Another flash, Bax turned to the direction of the forest someone was there. All of a sudden a shadowy figure started to run. The usually lazy Bax took off after them like a greyhound to a rabbit. Some of the workers followed.

Soon they returned , but with them was a young woman with a camera around her neck. Bax stood watch over the intruder as the workers talked about what they should do. They couldn’t let her go but they couldn’t have her prisoner either. “ We will keep her captive for the time being.” One of the workers finally said. Bax was proud of what he did, he knew that he had done his job. But he didn’t know what was going to happen to the new human. Regardless Bax went back to sleeping near the cabin as if nothing had happened.

In a way Bax is the enemy of this story but that’s not really for me to decide. It all depends on who you like in a story.

Plans for use: he is a big part of my story with my characters Dom and Clone also I had a lot of fun drawing a larger breed like this ^_^
