Vicen hired Eason Mao to take over in the racing department. He also hoped with Eason's experience maybe he could give confidence to Yama. It was hard for Vicen to turn over her reins to him. He had been in enough races with her to have grown a bond. He hoped Eason could develop a bond like it or stronger.

Given Yama's situation Eason took sometime to get to know her before he ever took her around the track. The first time he did it was a chilly fall morning. He was eager to see what this mare was all about.

The moment they where off he felt it. she had speed she had stamina, everything that made up a good race horse. Her confidence though was shot. Eason was confused he could feel her want to go all out but she held her self back. She seemed like she wanted to race, if she didn't want to Vicen would have retired her long before. Shes a afraid of something, something in her mind keeps her from running at her full potential.

She might be a hard case to fix, even when he asked her to speed up she would but only just enough. Refusing to let her self go. After talking with Vicen about her both men where confused to what could have caused her to shut her self in side.

Eason was determined to free her from her cage.
