Nina was nervous, so nervous and it showed on her face. Knex was surprisingly calm despite her nervous rider. Alex walked over to them as they warmed up in the ring. "Hey calm down. you dont want Knex to feel nervous too do you?" Alex asked as he placed a hand on the mares neck. "Alex what am i doing here? why would Vicen send ME to such a show.. theres so many better riders. Im going to forget everything!" She said as she turned to him. " Alex looked at her for a moment. "Cuz he believes in you. Now just believe in your self and your abilities and even more so in your fine mare. You worked to train her from a wild horse. Now show them what you two are made of. If your really worried i can be your reader. No one would think less of you. And soon enough you two will be flying solo." He said with a happy smile. Nina looked at him for a moment. She still wasn't sure but as she looked at Knex that all changed. He was right, not long ago she was a wild horse. Now here among all these people and other horses she stood so calm. If she could over come those fears then so could she.. she hoped. She nodded to Alex as he stepped back, letting them finish warming up as her name was soon called.
