Trying to get this guy from ~EternalStarTrail 's GSD adopts [link] been looking for a dark shepherd and hes just sooo pretty <3

Ring Ring. “Hello? Damien here.” He said softly as he answered the phone. “Hi Damien its me Val.” The voice on the other end said softly. “Oh Val. Hey what’s up? “ Damien asked. “Well we just got a dog into the shelter and I was wondering if you would come take a look at him and see if your able to take him... im not sure he will do well here.” Val said softly to him. “Of course, you know I cant say no. I will be by sometime tomorrow morning.” He said to her. “Great, I hope your able to Damien. Bye.” She said as she hung up the phone. Damien said bye and hung up as well. Damien thought for a moment why she would want him to take the dog. He figured he would soon find out.

The next day Damien headed out to the shelter. He arrived soon enough and went in to see Val. “Hey Val. So where is this new guy.” He said softly as he walked up to the desk. “Hi Damien great to see you. Please right this way.” She said happy as she headed to the door that lead to the kennels. They walked down the aisles till they stopped at one. Damien looked in and saw a dark figure laying on the bed in the kennel. Damien knelt down to the shapes level. “Hey there you..” He said softly. Slowly a head emerged from the black mass. Its large ears pinning toward him. “Well your a beautiful shepherd..” Damien said softly. He stood back up and turned to Val. “Mind if we use one of the meeting rooms?” He asked softly. “Not at all.” Val said happily as she grabbed the kennel lead that hung by the kennel. She opened the door and get the shepherd as they headed out to one of the meeting rooms.

Damien sat down on one of the chairs in the room as Val let the shepherd loose. Damien watched him for a moment. It took a moment but one the shepherd noticed it was just him in the room he perked up his attitude a little. “So Val what can you tell me.” Damien asked as he stayed watching the dog. “Well where do I begin. For one his owner abandoned him here the other day. He’s only about two and a half years old. They got him when he was a but and loved him. He got along great with there kids till one day. Its still unclear what happened. Either he just right out attacked or the kids provoked him. Long story short he bit the boy..... nothing to bad but it scared them enough to get rid of him. I know if people hear that be bit a child they would walk right past him. I don’t want him to grow up in the shelter.” Val said a little saddened.

“Hmm I see.” Damien said as he let the shepherd sniff his hand. He pet him softly. “We did a temperament test with him this morning and he passed it pretty well even the part with the child. He’s really just a loving playful dog.” Val said as she watched him. Damien pet him more. “He’s seems like he’s in really great condition. And seems rather attentive.” He said softly. “What else did you guys test him on?” He asked as he looked to Val. “The usual. He’s got a great toy drive. He seems so odd he’s got a very playfully personality and then one of a more serious one. Im really not sure what kinda personalty to say he has.” Val said as she giggled a little. “I have Keisen in the truck mind if I temperament test him for a moment?” Damien asked as he stood up. As Damien stood the shepherd playfully went up to him and stood right in front of him. Almost waiting for Damien to tell him something to do. “Hmm I see lots of potential with this dog.” Damien said happily. “Damien..... you see potential in like every dog. But I guess that’s a good trait of yours.” She said happily as she giggled. “Go get Keisen and I will stay with him.” She said as she smiled at him.

Damien headed out to his truck to get Keisen. “Alright boy lets see how this goes.” Damien said softly as he let Keisen out. He brought him to the room and let them get use to each other from a far. The shepherd was rather curious. Soon they let them see each other. Keisen was usually fine with other dogs. And with the shepherd being more playful then dominate, Keisen didn’t have a problem. At first he wanted to play with Keisen but once he notice Keisen wasn’t up to playing he calmed down and relaxed. “ I think he would make a great addition to the pack. What do you say Val?” Damien asked happily. “ I think so too. Let me just get the paper work and we can get this going.” She said happily as she headed to the door. “Oh they never left us is name.. So what are you going to call him?” She asked as she looked back at Damien. “Hmm Shogun.” Damien said happily. Val smiled and headed out to get the paper work to make the adoption final.

Personality: This guy will pretty much fit what ever personality is around him. If there is someone playful he too will be playful if its someone calm and quite he will do the same. This mimicry really help with training he’s very attentive to his handlers and is always watching and waiting for the next command. He can be a little shy in new places and with new people/dogs but gets over it really quick.
