“That Vet check should be coming up around here. We are doing great Hayda.” Sam said happily a little muffled from her mask. Hadya neighed happily as she kept up her strong steady pace. The soon arrived at the vet check. Sam was anxious to get back on the trail already. She was more focused this time. During there first ever race they saw it more as a game but now that Hadya proves even with someone like Sam at the reins the two of them can really work together. Sam wanted to do well for two reasons. One to prove to her brother she wasn’t a little kid anymore and Two, to make Hadya proud and not to let her down. This race was going to test the two of them and Sam didn’t want to slow Hadya down in anyway.

Soon the examiner came to check Hayda. She stood calm and patient as the examiner looked at her. Sam on the other hand was a bundle of nervous. She knew that if something was wrong with Hadya they couldn’t go on and that she would blame her self for not getting Hadya prepared enough. Hayda noticed how Sam was an nuzzled her a little in hopes to comfort her. “Thanks girl I really needed that.” Sam said softly as she pet Hayda
