Awesome start.
Can't wait to see where you end up taking this... and just how far back Samus' crew is willing to go.
Kinda makes me wonder if we might get a certain medical professional and his companion taking an interest in these events, or maybe even making Samus said companion for a bit.
The idea of Zin/Pirates versus Daleks with Samus, her crew, and the Doctor stuck in the middle would be all sorts of crazy hardcore. You, sir, are awesome.
