It was the client's idea, and she let me just run with it. I'm still not thrilled with the flowers. I need to practice different varieties of flowers so that my hand knows them well. I do great at copying other people's flowers, but lack the confidence yet when someone lets me run free like that. Practice makes perfect!
oh, and the reddish brown lines on the skin are watercolor pencil I used to sketch the lines to make sure she liked it.
